I woke up at 3am and thought it's really 4am but managed to go back to sleep until 5:30 real time. I usually get up at about 4:30 or 5:00 so I've already taken some advantage of the extra hour.

I set my alarm for 1:59:59 so I could make the change right on time.

I set my digital bedside clock back just before I went to bed. However, I had forgotten that it automatically changes at 0200 hours. So I have gained 2 hours!!

I woke up at 1:30 for a potty break and wasn’t sure if the time had changed on the clock or not, till I remembered it changes at 2:00.
I still think changing it twice a year is silly.

Maybe it should change once a year for a few years to try out some other options. One full year of Standard time, one full year of Daylight time, and a full year of the average, 30 minutes between the two.

Thanks; always forget about unchecking/checking that box.

Aside: is the forum reacting <v e r y s l o w l y> for anyone besides me? Non-forum pages are loading fast elsewhere; just the forum(s) here.

Me too, so much so that I just checked and it's set correctly, so I obviously didn't change it in the spring.

But does it really matter since the forum's clock is about 23 minutes slow.

I have a Watch and a 'Phone, so I don't worry about knowing the relative time.

Two of my three atomic clocks (yes, I know) caught up overnight, the other will swap location so it'll catch up.

There are a few odd mech watches that will get changed, and there's always one or two that don't so they're ready for the next change.

My forum clock, which doesn't get much attention, did get changed at 0100hrs so that's all sorted.

DST forever!
