Got a flyer in the mail yesterday and just checked out their website

For example, here's a 14" MacBook Pro with 32 GB RAM and 1TB SSD for $800 off MSRP

Yes, in store only as many of these deals tend to be

Here's all their MacBook Pros:

That is a great deal. To bad I purchased my 14"MBP a month ago.

They have an open box one of these near me:

Apple MacBook Pro MKGP3LL/A (Late 2021) 14.2" Laptop Computer - Space Gray Apple M1 Pro 8-Core CPU; 16GB Unified Memory; 512GB Solid State Drive; 14-Core GPU/16-Core Neural Engine

New - $1600
Open Box - $1440 (says it's complete...)

Think it's worth saving the $160?

That seems like a pricing error to me. Apple lists the same model as being $1999 new, and their refurb price is $1709.

Be careful with open box - I bought an M1 Mac mini open box from Microcenter one time and the previous user never removed their password or something like that

I could set up my account, etc. but I needed to do an OS reinstall for some reason and when I tried, it asked for some password on the restore screen

Luckily it was an easy return and they happened to have another open box, so I rolled the dice with that one and didn't have any issues

It's $1999 new, on sale for $400 off (same as Costco) = $1599.

The open box is another 10% off...

Thanks for the heads up, would ask to check before leaving store...

In my case, it wouldn't have been apparent until trying to do the OS restore

First bootup was like it was brand new and had no iCloud account attached to it, etc.

Only when I tried to do a restore did it ask for the password belonging to some other Apple ID
