I really don't need one, but considering that the voice remote normally sells for $20 by itself, I figure this'll be a way to upgrade one of my non-voice Rokus to have voice control, and have a spare stick for $5:

I bought a Roku streaming stick a couple of years ago for a far-away-from-the-router tv because they advertised it was long-range. It worked great where the basic Roku really didn't. When I got the email from Roku about these being half price a couple of weeks ago I ordered 2 more for the other tv's (that really worked fine with the basic Roku). The voice remote was very convenient for inputting my email address (one letter at a time) to set them up although I haven't used the voice for anything else.
