The lines are basically the 3rd gen. 2010-2015 which is what most Prius owners wanted back. The 2016-present is just plain ugly.
I think the new looks great! Now if I can keep my wife in her 2015, she's drooling over the new one.
My wife's 2015 she picked up last Fall.

Toyota finally made a nice looking Prius
That was my thought as well.
Now it looks like every other car whereas the old style was distinctive.
Now every other car isn't better looking than a Prius.
Among its features, good looks has never been a consideration.
Its looks never bothered me, I just never found them an attractive looking car.
In contrast, the Volt started out catching my eye, and get even better looking 'till the end.

Maybe a double or triple click, or special button (like the trunk button) on the remote, or a button on the driver's door pops one or both of them open.

Seriously? My first thought was it was an artist rendering or a mock up where they forgot the rear door handles. My second thought was maybe it doesn't actually have rear doors? My never,-ever-in-a-million-years thought was they put the door handles in the windows.
That's going to be "great" for Uber and Lyft; no one will know how to open the rear doors.

That's a very nice touch.
Keeps the design very tidy, and helps keep the door's finish pristine.
I dislike seeing the fingernail marks around car door handles.
But— they do buff out.

Chevy Sonic hatchback and possibly other cars had that type of handle for about 10 years or more
