My sister's boyfriend hates me Date: November 17, 2022 02:52PM |
He thinks I'm the worst. It doesn't bother me. I live my life just dandy. I've tried to be his friend but his hatred runs too deep. He's a pretty successful guy. He's retired now and has lots of money. I don't really know what she sees in him. He's so negative. Not my business. They've been together at least since 2004. He likes to get his drink on too. Basically, this classic Lucky Ducky really captures who he thinks I am and reflects our dynamic.

I have a few things I would love to say, none of them complementary to the maternal unit for that comment. But I won’t. I think SHE is/was mistaken.

I'm a lucky guy... my only sibling married a great guy and had the greatest kid in the world. He and I are going to a hockey game in San Jose once they get back from their trip to Greece.
I feel for ya V. It never occurred to me that my sister could marry an @#$%& - on the way to a hockey game once I realized how lucky I was that my BiL and I are great buddies.
That's awesome. That's what I wanted for me and Kevin. Her guy doesn't like sports at all. They're always having disagreements. I just try to stay out of it.
Don't worry...I bet she's slowly poisoning him.

Your sister's boyfriend is not a happy man. His envy of you shows how unsatisfied he is with his own "perfect" life. It reflects on him and not on you.
Consider taking this as a compliment. He secretly wants to be you and is angry that he isn't.
