anyone here ambidextrous and have a suggestion for local, not cloud, back up for W11?
Something like CCC for W11.

Not on W11, but I have used Macrium going on 7 years. Main W10 home computer is for gaming so I don't use it for backups. I clone the OEM boot drive, swap drives and then back up user files to an external.

Just run the built-in 'Windows 7' backup and restore, and back up a full system image.

Super-easy, and fast to restore.

  • Go to Control Panel, select Backup and Restore (Windows 7), then click Create a system image.
  • In the next window, choose the location you want the image backup to be sent to, then click Next.
  • Select any drives you wish to back up, then click Next to begin the backup process.
