Way too soon...

Single digit wind chill, high predicted to be 25º today with the 4" of snow we have from the lake effect machine-man! This is Dead of Winter weather and it's not even Thanksgiving yet...

And there are parts colder than us, right? Speedy?

We had a prediction of 22 last night and it only made it down to 30.

The "Three degree guarantee" that our local TV station advertises failed last night. I'm happy about that!

Good luck up north. It sounds pretty awful.

Oh, and the little Messerschmitt's are back. Slate-colored Juncos that remind me of the color scheme painted on Bf 109's.

These are actually Sparrows that spend the breeding season in the Tundra then come South to Michigan for the warm Winters!

Low 20s here in Central AR overnight, about half an hour outside of Little Rock.

Same tonight, but we've got a warming trend on the way; will 30s to 40s overnight on the way this week. By next Sunday, we'll be knocking on the 70s door again for the daytime highs.

5° overnight here in what is often referred to as one of the colder places in the nation. The heater kicked on sometime in the middle of the night, so I knew it was cold. We will see a daytime high near 40 though.

I would shiver the whole night through...

Pretty much about the same here:

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

I'm embarrassed to say it was 75° here at the beach today....

Cold, dry and windy at night. Had a Red Flag Warning last night, so it evens out.
OTOH, Speedy, Zoid, and DP's weather is not envy inducing.
