For those interested in inexpensive Hulu, $1.99/month.
$.99/month this last year, I remember $1.99/month the year before.

Enjoy!

This post reminded me to cancel last years deal before it jumps back up to $7.99 on Nov 25th

Weird thing is I need to watch it more - honestly I probably watched less than 40 hours of Hulu last year (was probably closer to 20 hrs). Only thing I really watched was The Orville when I binged it watching a couple or three episodes at a time over the course of a week or two.

Time to do the Credit card, browser, and email shuffle to see if i can snag another year at the discounted rate.

Probably will wait until Thursday or Friday so I don't forget what day to cancel next year.

Wish me luck!!

I'm glad I found out today, have to juggle email accounts.

Also, Peacock $.99/month:

(forum software trims "[]=SAVEBIG" off the end of the URL…)

Do we like Peacock?

I've done the .99/1.99 Hulu plans the last 3 years. We watch it very little, but it's been absolutely worth it at the price. Just not at 7.99.

I will think about this the next few days, but I opted into the Hulu/Espn+/Disney+ triple for 13.99 for the upcoming month (goes up to 14.99 next month). I know we don't need any of that stuff, but with all the added college games I may stick with this for awhile even if I eventually turn it off a couple months at a time here and there.

Supposedly you're not eligible for the $1,99 if you're an existing subscriber or been a subscriber in the last month.

It was worth 99¢ and I'd probably re-up for $1,99 but $7.99? That's a hard pass. Is it worth using a different e-mail addy just to take advantage of this?

Well...other than Solar Opposites I really didn't watch a lot on it, and I'll probably just let this one go.

Well, that was enlightening. When I went to subscribe, I learned I already have an ad-free subscription that I've apparently been paying for the last year! I really need to start looking at the AmEx statements when they arrive.

Now if I can just figure out how to watch it . . .

I just put a cancel reminder into iCal for an appropriate interval before the switchover date. I have so many discounted subscriptions for various things that iCal is the only way to manage this. Different services have different eligibility requirements for lapsed subscribers who want to qualify again for the discount.

If you're not watching Bob's Burgers on Hulu you're missing out. We watch repeats almost every night before going to bed. Sometimes we watch Family Guy or King of the Hill to mix it up a bit.

Does the $2/mo Hulu deal include stuff that's been moved to the higher-priced tier recently? I was surprised to see that happen.

My existing $0.99 promotion expires on Monday. My 3 year Disney+ subscription expired last week. I just signed up for the new Hulu promotion with a new e-mail and credit card and added Disney+ (no ads) for an extra $2.99/month.

I was going to do the bundle with ESPN+ (which I don't need) and save $8/month with my AMEX Blue card, but this promo for $5/month works out better.

I couldn't find that deal (Disney+). Did it just appear when you signed up?

When signing up for the Hulu deal, you are offered a variety of add-ons. Disney+ For $2.99 is one of the options you can add.

Thanks. It didn't really work that way for me, but I got it done. Instead of selecting from a menu of add-ons, which didn't exist, I found a button to get Hulu with Disney+ right from the start.

It also required a different payment card in addition to a different email, otherwise it kept telling me I wasn't eligible.
