Not at a buffet, but more than once, and especially when I was traveling a lot, I had Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas (once) dinner at a Chinese eatery.

Growing up in NYC, and Jewish, our standard Christmas "dinner" was Chinese food - the only thing open Christmas day, besides the movies, which was our entertainment.

Growing up in NYC, I've always heard that too, but it makes me wonder why they're forced to eat out that day, don't they ever cook for themselves?
