Seeking recommendation for a good broom for sweeping maple leaves

Have somehow managed to avoid sweeping/raking fall(en) leaves for most of my life. Now, I'm in the situation of needing to clean up leaves at two different locations.

The leaves are falling on concrete sidewalks, so sweeping seems better than raking. I'm also reluctant to add to noise and dust pollution with a leaf blower.

Any ideas on which broom does a good job with pretty-flat, fallen maples leaves on concrete?

thanks, Todd's soon-to-have-piles-of-keys board

Some battery powered leaf blowers are relatively quiet.

No broom will tackle leave on concrete very well. It's a job for a blower or a plastic leaf rake.

My trees produce about 15 cu yds of leaves. I use a Ryobi 40v leaf blower and a huge leaf catcher bag on my mower to collect them. Battery leaf blowers are great. And quiet.

wish we had waited for battery powered, but the electric one is pretty good. It's a Toro and I think it was $50 5 oe so years ago.
It's a blower and vacuum/mulcher with a clip that swaps one for the other. Prolly a 5:1 volume reduction.

I get good results with a stiff bristle broom for leaves on concrete. Not a pushbroom. I just get the bulk of it so the neighbors see I'm putting in some effort. A breeze will take care of the rest. Have fun!

Nothing like the scrape of a metal rake on cement. Ah, memories.

d4 knows..

Not a push broom of any kind..

Traditional broom with the stifftistt bristles you can find..and dont do it after it rains..I go through this quite a bit.

I love my Ego leaf blower. Very quiet and light.
