Andy shows as the new program director and changes the station's format to rock and roll in order to boost ratings, but can't get funds for advertising.

I went thru WKRP earlier this year and was surprised at how good it was. There's a few shows that tackle serious issues mixed in with all the fun.

The full DVD collection with original ‘70’s music is a worthwhile investment for true fans of the show. Although Pink Floyd’s “Dogs” is replaced with an alternative, they got the rights to most of the tunes for that collection. Plus, you get to hear a would-be Russian defector say to Les: “hold me closer, tiny dancer.” On reruns, he says a poorly dubbed “hold my toaster, terrible dresser.”

Our local Dedades is showing The Addams Family. I'll have to see if they do a marathon another weekend.

This needs a Bailey (Jan Smithers) vs Jennifer (Loni Anderson) poll!

I have a feeling Bailey would be the winner here!

Loni Anderson dominates any scene she is in but Jan Smithers was very attractive as well. She became a mother at the age of 38 and left acting. One article says she focused on "spirituality" after her daughter was grown and then she eventually came back to Hollywood to work behind the cameras. Interesting story.

Jan Smithers made to play a somewhat distant second fiddle in the apparently cold studio with Loni.

Jan was in something, maybe a TV movie, and without having to compete she showed she stacked up quite well compared to Loni.

However, I don't remember her having to cope with wind chill.
