I'm like a broken record on this, but I'll say it again: once you install a bidet (and yes, I use LUXE ones), you'll forever use them and it'll be the first thing you re-install if you ever move. Bought my first one in '98, and never looked back (that sounds like an unintentional joke). The alternative will feel like caveman days.

In for one. The Brondell we picked up off this forum recommendation during the tee pee shortages has served flawlessly so might as well try this one out. At least the guests will be able to now experiment with a fresh cleanse.

I'm very tempted. Trying to figure out if it will fit as the vanity might be in the way. Also, is the gap between bowl and seat problematic? Seems like it would be uneven and wobbly with the bidet in place.

I just measured mine, wurm, and it sticks out 4 inches on the left side (as you're looking down on the toilet).

The gap can be problematic, depending on the seat design. But no matter what, simple nylon shims (or washers) will take care of that and give you enough room.

In for one also. Never had one before. To get over the $7 shipping cost to me I also am getting us a new kitchen trash can we needed.

Thanks for the additional info, tuqqer. Like deckeda, I may add a little something to eliminate the shipping cost.

I'm also a convert... Trip to Thailand, and most toilets I used there had one (one was a VERY nice high end model from Japan... made you feel like the Captain of the Enterprise with all the controls!).

Once you go Bidet, you won't want to go back to smearing poo all over your nethers with paper.

Deckeda; First time you use it is a little... weird... but, after a week, you'll wonder why we (the U.S.) didn't do this 50 years ago.

I can report an oddly invigorating success.

Notes:
I used the supplied Teflon tape; thy don’t mention it being critical and the previous connections didn’t have it. We have recent Kohler Highline toilets and the original seat and hardware fit fine as-is.

The instructions assume holding the toilet lever down evacuates all tank water. We all know that won’t happen and that you’ll need to scoop or sponge out the rest unless you catch it all out the bottom somehow.
