I have a half dozen versions of "Road Runner" originally by the Modern Lovers. Great song.

I have never heard a good cover of "Whole Lotta Rosie" by AC/DC.

sorry - somehow I read that as THE best...

Speaking of Playing for Change, I don't believe I've ever heard a more mesmerizing version of All Along the Watchtower than this one.

I love "The Weight" and agree it is one of the greatest songs ever. The first Band album was such a delight to discover.

It’s a classic, without a doubt. Of course having Levon Helm singing most of it doesn’t hurt. Interesting to note that Robbie Robertson included Nazareth as the location based on seeing the name Nazareth, PA inside his Martin D28, it being where the Martin factory is and where the guitar was built.

Yes!

Music from Big Pink had been around for a bit before I got it, but it was The Weight and Chest Fever that got me to seek it out.

LOVE the sound of those two songs.
