Anyway, I ordered my wife a Wirecutter recommended Bluetooth speaker, and since Best Buy had it with free delivery, I decided to throw them the money instead of Bezosville.

Tracking ("Roadie"?) says it was out for delivery 1:49P on Friday. On Saturday at 8A, the next entry says delivery unsuccessful, returning to shipper. The wife was home, and we've received, like, 40 packages lately on our doorstep. So I dunno what the problem was - I'm just trying to make sure I get a refund at least.

Not to beat on Best Buy; I like them - I hope they stay alive. And the number of packages shipped these days around Christmas is nuts. But the chat message above was kind of too much. (And inaccurate - they guy came on a few minutes later - he's still "checking on it".)

After I gave up on delivery, I went to bestbuy.com, and today (at least) the item is $20 less! It was $100 everywhere before and today it’s $80 at BB, Target and Amazon.

Whaaa? BF-style pricing 7 days before Xmas.

I figure you've done something good recently and karma intervened to save you the $20.
