Yeah, it was a pretty sizeable shake! You'd think after getting clobbered by a load of books in 1980, I'd have learned not to build bookshelves over my bed, but NOOooo... Fortunately, it was just a few softcovers pelting me. I sat up, and kept the hardcovers on that shelf while I could hear stuff all over the house falling of shelves and counters and watch the house a tippin' and a tiltin' a bit.
After it stopped, I got some clothes and slippers on, and did a check of my water heater (mandatory earthquake straps did their job very nicely... it was vertical), looked for anything leaking, and did a sniff around for gas leaks. Went outside with a flashlight and checked the house... still on it's foundation.
No power until last night about 5pm... Which also meant no internet since Starlink does require electricity... However, once the power came back on, I needed another unplug-replug cycle and a short wait, and Starlink tracked in, and boom... internet again.
