I've started doing lap swimming again for about a month or so now.

I'm trying to work more and more freestyle in with the easier strokes.

I was down ten pounds and now I'm up five! less booze and snacks, more walking and pushups!

Up ~2lbs from recent minimums, not too bad after the holidays. Ended last month over 10K steps for the month, best one since 8/2021. 9,324/day for the whole year, but 130 below last year's average.

The last 2 weeks of Dec were kind of hellish, closing out stuff from my old job. Starting a new job in January.

No exercise outside of the walk in and out of buildings and the occasional set of stairs.

Didn't gain any weight, mostly because stress and lack of time kept me from eating.

Off this week. Two workouts already. (Jogging.) Feeling much better. Surprised me that I didn't need to ease into the routine again, was able to get up to speed right away.

We started our annual diets on Jan 1. We always have our annual physicals at the end of Feb because we determined that it aimed us to getting in better shape following too much food during the holidays. I only have 5 lbs to lose so it shouldn't be too much trouble.

We were able to continue daily activity--walking, kayaking, Apple Fitness or golfing through the holidays. Gotta keep going!

Just as fat or fatter than ever. I think I got in about 10 miles of purposeful exercise in December.

I lost 7 pounds in 2022 which is a modest bit of progress. It was my lowest exercise time in many years due to my wife's medical issues. Yesterday we started over with exercise and diet. Exercise bike, treadmill, free weights, and resistance bands. So "yah!" for day one.

Ukulele music I couldn't find anywhere else.

I live next to a beautiful greenbelt. This is my favorite time of year to walk on it. Walking on the snow covered trails is great exercise.
