I have an iPhone X
It is fine, but the battery is getting a little weak. It is generally not a big deal, as I am around a charger or can plug in when in the car, but a stronger battery would be nice.

I am considering either an iPhone 13mini or an iPhone 14.

The better camera in either the 13 or 14 is the bigger reason to upgrade.

I like the size of the X

I don’t see any deals on either. I am on Visible, so I will be buying it at full price with probably trading in my X

Looks like the 13mini is $599
The 14 is $799

Not really seeing why the 14 would be worth $200 more to me.

What say you guys?

One other data point. iPhone 13 series has a SIM tray and supports eSIMs, iPhone 14 is eSIM only in the USA. Does Visible support eSIMs?

I have a 13 and find it plenty speedy. For me it would be between the 13 and the X. I think my wife has an X which is doing quite well. I'm a big fan of airtags so I'd upgrade to get precision locating.

I’m kind of freaked out by how GOOD the camera is in my 13Pro… spend some time exploring them at ye olde Apple Store..

I'm underwhelmed by going to an iP14Pro from a 12ProMax

The X had poor battery life out of the box. If you went to an iP13Pro, you might get 3x the battery life!

I’m thinking about a15-48MP camera, maybe a periscope lens, USB-C port, satellite comms, etc. we’ll see…

wife has the 13 mini and loves it... she is petite so a bigger phone does not work well for her.

That was my thought, or even cheaper at an outside vendor. I'm not saying you shouldn't get a new phone, but the battery is not a good reason since they are far cheaper to have replaced than buying a new phone.
