I completely deny myself doughnuts. They are evil! That said, I have cravings, but the stop at KK. Those things are disgusting! Tastes like a doughnut that has been saturated in sugar syrup overnight.

yeah, I think the KK doughnuts (with the -ough) are just waaaaay too sweet. I'm not used to them. we have lots of great doughnut shops where I live, and there are some sweeter types, but still some more "necessary to dunk into coffee" cake versions.

there seems to be a dividing line somewhere south of Baltimore (or so) where things just get really sweet. I'm definitely north of that.

We have one really good doughnut shop called Country Donutz, I'd much rather have them, they're not deep fried. I don't feel bloated when I eat one of them even though they're almost twice as big as KK's.

We're in the midst of our annual "lose weight before our annual physicals and fool the doctor" time. Our physicals are in late Feb so we have over 5 weeks to go. No KK for us until we leave the doctors office!
