Haven't been around much due to my immune system issue, CIDP relapsing in October and now in January.Plus my insurance has stopped paying for the one drug that usually clears it. So I'm fighting with the insurance and being treated with 2nd tier treatments.

So while getting and IV of steroids, my JBL earbuds kept popping out of my ears, disconnecting from my iPhone, and being so hard to reconnect, that I decided to take the Apple plunge and make myself feel a bit better.

Verizon has the AirPods Pro 2's for $50 off regular price and I decided to get them. They offered free 3 day delivery, but the package showed up the next day. Way to go Verizon!

And just let me say, I'm am more than impressed. First, they stay in my ears. Second, the sound quality is amazing. The JBl buds are junk in comparison. Third, the noise cancellation other other options are awesome. Fourth MagSafe charging is the bomb. Fifth, they just plain work.

Honestly, the sound quality is something else. Whether its music or a movie, it's like you are surrounded by sound!

I was always reluctant to spend that much on AirPods, but I can say it was well worth it.

I love mine.

You can get them for ~$350 (still not cheap) if you look for refurbs.

I liked the sound of the AirPod Pro OG, but the fit killed my ears, and the more I tried to acclimate, the sooner than began to hurt.

They did sound nice, though the Apple sound check kept saying check the fit, or something.

So they had to go.

The AirPods 3 Gen are a good compromise, sounding better than the 2, not quite as good as the Pro, and they don't hurt my ears, but they don't stay in well, so I have to be careful.

1 and 2 Gen fit great, and sound OK, but not as good as the 3.

The AirPods Pro 2 work for you, so congratulations!
