completely revolutionary though.

In 1983 I was using a Mentor Graphics workstation at work with a mouse, huge B&W CRT screen, multiple windows, parallel processing. All written in PASCAL in the background. Schematic design, PC Board design, pSpice circuit simulation, programming automatic manufacturing tools, etc. I'm pretty sure there was Xerox / smalltalk code in there. It was a revolutionary system. And super expensive.

The Mac was like coming home.

I used a Mac Plus as my sole computer for nine years, and never got tired of the monochrome 9” screen.
