In the course of my futzing around with freeing up drive space and getting Disk Utility to run Disk First Aid and having to swap keyboards around to boot into Recovery mode, I discovered a feature I knew I had but didn't know what it actually did.
My cheapo Bluetooth keyboard has three Bluetooth channels. I just figured if it didn't pair to my Mini with A, I'd try B or C. Well, A worked fine. Then out of curiosity I actually looked at the users manual. I hit the button for Bluetooth B, went to my iPhone and there in the Bluetooth setup, the keyboard shows up. Realistically, I don't know how often I'd use it, but it sure is nice to write a text or email on my phone using a real keyboard. That leaves me with C, which I suppose I could pair with my work Macbook Pro if my Apple keyboard ever dies or just needs charging at an inconvenient time.
Yes, it's likely old news to most of you, but I was quite impressed.
