The front end looks Chrysler inspired. The back, like I guessed from the earlier snope photos, looks like the tribeca.

Got a nice face lift. At first I hated it, but the more I look at it I like it.

Ha! I'll be driving used ones for a while. Wife gets first new car and even that is a year or two off. House payments are on the horizon.

It does not matter. Toyota will be absorbing Subaru soon, anyway.

Yes, the pics are UGLY.(er) that I had thought.

The front end of the Tribeca looks like a Ford. The other thing looks like crap.

Where's details on this Toyota/Subaru merger?

Lesburu Impressa not really a gay car.

Ouch. The Imprezza looks like a Chrysler Sebring and Daewoo lovechild. Not a very handsome car....

I just realized, "Subaru sales suddenly slid sharply" makes great use of alliteration.

Sorry, blu - thought you knew already.

I like the over-the-top pugnacious-looking Impreza.

I see there's no 2008 STI announced, yet.

Hm.

I'm a Saaburu owner (9-2X). It is a lot nicer than my first Suburu... a $100 used Justy...

What incognegro said. IMHO, all Subarus look like nondescript japanese econoboxes...inoffensive but mundane. At least they don't look like the modern crop of Toyotas...mundane and ugly (don't get me wrong, I'm probably buying one for my daughter, but not for looks). .

They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

We're on our third Subaru Legacy wagon. Last one got replaced when it was 13 years old (second owners).

Love them. And the way they look.

That is hilarious Scott. I especially love "unleash the unrelenting power of the 1400cc quadrozontal engine".

I loved those days! I could lift the engine out of my soob with my hands, change the transaxles in twenty minutes. I learned a lesson from the soob too! When the temperature gauge registers hot; water must be added. My poor poor subaru died of thirst. I loved her so.............

A transaxle is not an axle. It may be a transmission.
