I've been using this for a few weeks. It's free but I pay.

Sometimes it is scary good.

1950 family reunion. My great grandmother and grandmother in black near the center and my grandfather far left bottom. My great grandfather died fairly young, he was drug to death by a team of horses while hauling wood. My parents and my brother are in there but barely visible. I used the free version.

What’s with the pillow-like objects at the bride’s feet?

Probably just to spiff up the pedestal. Or maybe they are His and Hers pillows.

I wish someone had. I know maybe 5-10% of the people in the photo. There's only two people left alive that might know a few more. It was made before I was born. The B&W original is in good shape and I did very little restoration to this one.

The pillows are from the wedding ceremony. The Bride & Groom kneel at the altar.

It's tradition we Mexican Roman Catholics do. I cannot say if any other sects & ethnicities do this.
My wife still has our from our wedding.

The basket holds ...
Las arras matrimoniales, or wedding coins in English, is a wedding tradition that has been passed down for generations in the Hispanic culture. It’s a ritual that has its roots in the Catholic faith and is performed at Catholic weddings in Spain, across Latin America, and in other Hispanic cultures around the world.
