In my area Kroger just moved in, but is delivery only, no retail supermarkets. They sent me a coupon for $15 off any delivery over $35 so I tried them out.

I ordered three 1 lb bags of rice, they were out of stock and substituted three 10lb bags.
I also ordered 2 bulbs of fresh garlic. They offer fresh garlic sold by the "Large bulb". Whoever packed my order packed 2 lbs of fresh garlic.

I guess I'm making garlic rice for the next 30 days

Hurts like a bastid...

I remember a girlfriend prompting me to buy a 10 k bag of rice. It had bugs in it by the 3 month mark. Now I know why people rinse their rice before cooking it.

I rarely buy that much garlic, but one great way to use it up is to roast it and then freeze portions.
