I was really enjoying The Ark until the season finale. There were always some things that were a little absurd in the episodes but I could let them go.

Then came the finale which was chock full of absurdities and was very disappointing.

...it has already been renewed for season 2.....

I enjoyed it because they doubled down on every piece of stupid absurdity with even more stupid absurdity. Geometrically growing the stupid absurdity from moment to moment with every episode! It's an amazing challenge, but they rose to it!

Plus, Tiana Upcheva in a role so far beneath her... It's amazing.

It got sooooo much worse.

In a good way. Went from just plain "awful" to "astonishingly bad, make popcorn" very quickly.

It’s a train wreck and I am unable to look away. They should have titled it “teenagers chewing bubblegum in space”. The woman who plays the doctor is the only half believable character. The pace is ridiculously fast. I should probably let this one go.
