anyone have a rec for a commercial product that will kill driveway weeds popping out of the very old blue stone?
My back won't put up with weeding, unless its the other kind.....
I know vinegar and sunlight are supposed to work, but may take a while.

We have had good results with bleach. Got a large glue syringe and squirted bleach into the driveway cracks. Weeds wilted in two days and a reapplication discouraged new growth. Some people add Dawn to get better foliar spread. Needs seasonal renewal, but it's cheap, quick, effective and non toxic to humans. (You don't want to breathe bleach fumes; I use a respirator.)

I just get whatever weed killer home depot has on offer, mind whether I want to to kill EVERYTHING or just lawn weeks. I've had good success.

You can also torch them, if you are so inclined

How about boiling water? Can't get much cleaner than that. All you pay for is the electricity to boil the water.

torching doesnt kill roots... why not just use roundup?

Just use glyphosate you'd be surprised how little concentrate it takes, most grasses and weeds only need 1-1.5oz. per gallon. Those that think more is better are wrong. They don't spray much of it here on the farm but for some fence lines they usually do a 1-1.5oz of glyphosate and 1.5-2.0oz of 2,4-D per gallon.

bleach - neighbor hood pets.
Round Up = Monsanto. never again.
torching is slow and incomplete.
boiling water, too many trips.
vodka, waste!
corn gluten, timing.

sprayed vinegar and dish soap seems to be the winner.

there is way way way more to that story, and the very first line in your wiki:

There is limited evidence that human cancer risk might increase as a result of occupational exposure to large amounts of glyphosate, such as agricultural work, but no good evidence of such a risk from home use, such as in domestic gardening.

So as long as you arent drinking gallons a day on a farm -- which "limited evidence... might... large amounts" -- pfft.

Round Up = Monsanto. never again

Assuming that has to do with the above, lawsuits were paid cause roudup didn't have a warning label. ala, "do not eat iPod shuffle", and if someone ate it = lawsuit.

I have good success with this product.

Caveats:
Kills ALL vegetation. If that is not what you want don't buy.
Expensive. Smaller sizes available and refills are cheaper.

I use it where needed in jungle areas coming from my neighbors and it lasts for a year.
