Can Apple keyboard be repaired (easily)?

I have a wired, full sized Apple keyboard where a column of keys isn't working (7, U, J, M keys). Was wondering if it's even possible to take the keyboard apart, and/or fix it. Or is it destined for the electronics recycler.

Doubtful.

Pick your keyboard and see if there's a take apart guide: [www.ifixit.com]

From the USB "chicklet" key keyboard: "There are practically no serviceable parts inside the keyboard other than the logic board but even so due to the assembly of the keyboard there are no spare parts available to buy even if you could. There is little practical reason to actually disassemble the keyboard."

Gareth beat me to it.
I would give it a try on a lazy day, just for kicks.

If you get a new one, I'm loving the fingerprint reader on the newer models.
