The only bad cheese, is the cheese a lactose intolerant person eats in your proximity; and then can't stop cutting the cheese.......

I have to be in the mood, but yeah, I love it. My wife loves it even more!

Blue cheese, sure, but Stilton? I gave that stuff a really long trial for the sake of a fellow British ex-pat who was addicted to the stuff, but just couldn't get used to it. There's nothing about Stilton that says "I'm edible."

Of the ones you can buy relatively easily in the US, Blue Stilton is the most reliable. Gorgonzola is usually too soapy, Roquefort too mild.

But when I think stinky, I have in mind more things like Epoisses, Livarot, Reblochon. I love those even more than blue cheeses, but some are hard to get in the US (e.g., Reblochon).

No, it actually tastes just like puke to me. Maybe I could acquire a taste for it, but I don’t want to.

it may smell like puke, esp when heated, but it definitely does not taste like puke (to me).

similarly, heated brie is one of the worst smells ever.

mostly, I prefer goat cheese. I do like a good Humboldt

Hurts like a bastid...
