So what do you like for wireless mice these days for Macs?

First, Apple mice are just terrible in my view.

I like Logitech in general.

For example, this style is nice - MX Anywhere 3 for Mac

I will be getting two for my new job, so thought I'd post and ask what cool input devices you like? Have I missed a cool new one?

EDIT: found this large review, too. [www.rtings.com]

What do you like about vertical mice? I am familiar with track balls - those are really upside-down mice, not 'vertical'.

I broke in on a trackball. With the usual 5 button programmable options vertical allows control with fewer needs to use a keyboard (although I'm kb oriented and generally prefer it to a mouse), vertical can be a real time saver.

We like the Logitech logi pebble. Simple two-button, clickable scrollwheel. Good for our small hands.

most people don't get the apple mouse either. IMHO, they haven't made a good one since the ADB model.

*ANY* mouse will work with a mac, even a $10 one from marshalls. $80? yikes. BT or USB wireless?

since rtings chose the apple mouse as the best... meh.

we actually have 2 of these -- super quiet, cant hear the click, and the fabric cover is actually amazing: [www.aliexpress.us]

Sorry cant give you more, my capral tunnel will not let me use a mouse, ever, so Im trackpad now.

I use a LOT of $10 Logitech mobile mice. But I also think that something I use for hours every day, I can invest up to $80 - especially when I tend to use them for many years.

I've been using the MX-Master series for years now. It's got everything. They're up to the 3 Series now. I wouldn't use anything else.

I stocked up on Contour Design Perfit mice when they phased them out last year. This is what they are offering now, but I prefer the scroll wheel to be on the thumb side, where they had it for their Perfit mouse.

UniMouse

The Apple ADB mice gave me tennis elbow and the beginnings of carpal tunnel syndrome.

I switched to a Kensington Trackball, and gave up on that when I ended up with pain from my thumb to my elbow.

3-button mice are essential to me. The software needs to allow one button to be assigned to click-lock, which lets you drag an item without any downward force (downward pressure while dragging is what started the tennis elbow). This greatly reduces strain on the arm, hand and elbow. Before I found the Contour Design mice, I used an ADB 3-button Logitech MouseMan. That, too, was a huge improvement.

Here's a Rocket Yard article on a Logitech MX model:

Fancy Logitech Mouse

I'm not crazy about the scroll wheel being on top: it could potentially cause some wrist pain. It looks similar to the Contour Design model in some ways.

My life goes smoothly and in regular intervals

Logitech Wireless Mini Mouse M187 Ultra Portable: [www.amazon.com]

Really small and I've been using them for years. It sits on the arm of my chair where I use my MacBook 99% of the time. I have to use a USB adapter. That's the reason I got an M2 rather than M1 MacBook Air. I can charge it with the adapter in place without any problem. I can't use 2 adapters side by side, however.

Logitech needs to make a bluetooth version of this mouse! I do use one of these at a desktop workstation.

Most brands of higher-end mice have software available from the manufacturer that provides added features.

Kensington MouseWorks was the best companion software I've ever found.

It hand one key feature that worked with all of its trackballs if one could spare a button – the ability to have ENTER or RETURN as a dedicated button.

This is one of the handiest features that I've ever used on an input devices.

Recent iterations of their software, being terrible, dropped that feature.

Has anybody seen this in any brand of input device?

I use a trackpad mainly anymore, since their trackball software is limiting.

But I might consider adding a mouse if it had that one weird feature.
