Not terribly good, but at least he's trying, unlike that show I saw in the 80s. The band is good

I'd say he's doing pretty good for an 82 year old.

Wack-a-doodle Buddhist?

But, yeah, Dylan’s never had any guitar chops, or much of a singing voice. Wrote a lot of great songs and poetry for other artists to interpret. Not to mention cultural icon and social influencer. He was one of my heroes in the 60’s, still is. Saw him in LA with his first electric foray. Folks were booing him, which I thought was entirely uncalled for.

I might have said it in another thread, but seeing Dylan after the 70s, I may or may not have liked his performance, but I felt like he put pros in the band, not afraid to let their talent eclipse him.

ETA: I've heard him a lot worse than this performance.

Drummer smiles a bit but the rest of the band seems to be in white knuckle, train wreck avoidance mode.

both times I've seen Dylan, the bands had that same panic look because Bob could send them a crazy signal at any moment. The second time I saw him - dual headline with Paul Simon, they were awesome! But Bob was constantly doing crazy stuff - totally cut off a guitar solo or suddenly change songs in the middle of a jam. That band in the late 90s were sharp.
