Needs more context to be alarming. More concerning, for me.

Macintouch uses only one computer? that's nuts!

Hell, if my computer died, I could continue work in just an hour or so - maybe a 1/2 day at the worst. Something ain't right with that workflow.

How did it stop working? Maybe it quit after falling off a six foot high shelf. Without more info it’s a shrug.

The statement.

A bit of a head scratcher in its terseness. More frustration than informative.

I’m guessing a fuller report will come sooner rather than later.

A priest, a rabbit and a minister walk into a bar.
The bartender asks the rabbit "what'll ya have?"
The rabbit says "I dunno. I'm only here because of Autocorrect.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
As of July 16, 2022, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is now available by simply dialing 988. The previous number, 1-800-273-8255, will remain active.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

they just said that their reports and updates are being delayed because their computer crashed. Don't they have another one - silicon or otherwise that could do the job?

Why is this alarming? This is a single data point - not nearly enough to draw any meaningful conclusions about Apple Silicon reliability.

To the contrary, the tens of millions of Apple computers (including Apple Silicon) that have been sold and are working reliably speak to the reliability of Apple's product.

It is what it is.
