thanks! been kind of watching for these. Just ordered 2 for shipping. Even with the $50+ shipping charge (regardless of order size), at about $105 (with tax) each, this is a great deal. Haven't decided, but might try to sell one of them to subsidize at least some of the other one.

ordered at 11:41pm EST last evening, 10/31.

I'm 2 hrs away from the closest store, so my only real option was shipping. I debated ordering 3, but that felt excessive

Oh well… it was too good to be true…


That's what I first thought when I saw the deal.

Then I thought well it's old stock (2018) and the batteries are going... going...

And then I thought WTHeck.

And then I was disappointed.

And I thought WTHeck is it?

I thought it was either an inverter that supplied 120VAC or a battery that supplied 12VDC.

AMZ sells it for ~$315, very little product description, but 56VDC?

And then I watched a short manufacturer video.

$50 shipping is really pricy, considering it must go ground and not air.

Is it handled extra special because it's Li-ion?

Anyway I finally found that it's a dedicated battery for some Ego products and would have been no use to me, except maybe to try and sell it to one of you guys!

my batteries just arrived and the first one is now on the charger.

OLD stock (manufacturing date of June 2018), but they both appear to work so far. I will register the 3 year warranty on both batteries and anticipate that because of age and likely the charge not having been maintained while they were sitting on the shelf, that there will likely be replacements in their future.

But hey, if these batteries work out, they'll be a much better deal than the sales that I've skipped on lesser batteries over the past couple of years. Time will tell.
