Do you shave your face?

I guess that's the politically correct term for persons who can/feel like they should shave one's face.

If so, do you still shave?

I have not shaved regularly in ten years, I usually trim it down about once a month.

I used my trimmer this month without a guard, basically almost shaved. My wife loves it. My daughters hate it. Say I look like "handsome Shrek from Shrek 3" or "man-baby"

Co-worker says I look twenty years younger, but I'm growing it back.

I guess I'd be "Porn 'Stache" with a Doc Holliday type soul patch.

This is really out of laziness - ever since retiring, I realized that I didn't want to shave every day; now it' just kinda touch-up shaving every few days

Sigh. If I were more disciplined, I'd shave every other day. As is, once or twice a week. Just sloth, nothing more. And if I grew out a beard, I'd likely look like scraggly Santa Claus.

You're missing a bunch of beards from the list.

Like the "Millennial Goatee" and "Soul Patch," or "Duck Tails," "Balbos," "Mutton Chops" and "Chin Curtains."

For me, it's the "neat trim" variation on the "Classic Full Beard." (Tho I occasionally play with the "Short Boxed" aka "Hollywood" look.)

More than "Scruff" and less than "Mountain Man."

I trim my beard at least weekly, and shave my neck below the beard daily.

Daily, have grown very fond of my Braun electric. I also 'polish' using a disposable blade to get areas on my neck that are invisible but annoy me.

If I did not shave daily, I would look scruffy - I'm not a 5 o'clock shadow guy, but by then morning, my hair is quite visible. Stopped shaving a few years ago, and my beard grew amazingly quickly.

Van Dyke for the past...many years, trimmed every month or so when the 'stache starts looking like David Crosby's. Shave everything else with Harry's blade twice per week,

Every three or four weeks I put the number three spacer on my hair clipper and go at my scruffy face. At the same time I use a number 1/2 on what remaining hair I have on top of my head. I had a very cute looking woman tell me I don’t look like I’m 73, something I will hang onto for what little it’s worth.

Gillette Mach 3 and shave every other day, I'm retired and see no reason to shave everyday.

Every day with a Gillette razor. 28 years in the Air Force made it a daily occurrence and even after 12 years retired I still shave every day. I guess their are worse habits!

I haven't shaved for decades.

I trim my beard every week or two and keep it pretty short. I also trim my neck and higher up on my cheeks a couple times a week as short as possible with a trimmer but don't actually shave.

For the past several years I have trimmed my beard pretty much to stubble because it's mostly gray now and I don't like the way looks when it grows out (and I'm not going to go the Just For Men route).

I'm thinking about going to a goatee, but I'm not sure.

scruff since I have not gone into an office to work for a long while (pre pandemic by a lot). I just hate the ritual, mostly because I shower at all different times, and some of those times I'm in a hurry and some times, I am not in a hurry. that somehow seems to affect my shaving habits.

I work with blind people, so I shave every three days. If they start rubbing my face more often, I might have to step it up a little. Gillette mach 3 is the best (my facial hair is tough as cheat grass).

I alternate between smooth and stubble, mostly preferring smooth since my stubble has gone gray.

...and I'm convinced that Mach 3 is peak razor blade technology. Clears better than cartridges with more blades.

I'm w/ SDGuy, maybe taking the MOvember stache thing a bit too seriously.

Got back from Hawaii just before the pandemic became the pandemic, and was sporting the basic pron stache in 2020......

In fall of 2021, a nephew got married, and his bro's (also a nephew) wife was overly preggers, so a week and a half later when the new kid popped out, I went for the beard, and let it grow until the new kid's first birthday last year. Pretty much mountain man mode at that point.....

.
Beard at ~11 months, about six weeks prior to grandnephew's hatching

I carved it down over the next few months, until it's currently as SDGuy describes it, but more Zappa than Holiday soul patch included.

.
Photo from pending Real ID application last week

I voted Pron Stache.....

Clean shaven with a moustache - old age meds seems to have my hair thinning so as much as I want a thick Steve Harvey Porn Stache and a Bald head - my stache is thin

Cop 'stache.

I shaved every work day and on most days off.

After retiring I don't shave if I'm not going out the door.

When I do, it's to the same degree as when working.

Closely trimmed and touch up once a week. Also, shave the neck and cheeks. I let it grow a little longer a few months ago until it had a bit of a wave. Interesting but more maintenance than I was willing to put in. About every six months, I get careless and also forget the guard and swipe a swath that takes a while to fill back in.

Only been clean shaven once in the past 13 years and it distressed me greatly. Yeah, beards make you look older but so do saggy bits. Plus, I thought my face looked so boring.

Still don't get the five-day-stubble look. Just commit one way or the other. Plus, isn't it like sandpaper for a partner?

shaved head with goatee here. Trim the goatee maybe once a month. Shave the rest including my head maybe once or twice a week. Every day if I'm on travel for business. I work from home almost exclusively so no reason to shave every day anymore.

I'm with SDGuy and Buzz, Deadwood style mustache and patch.

Would otherwise have a full beard but I still want a good seal around my N95s.

My beard yearns to be free…

Did OK thru the beard experiment w/ ill-fitting masks, didn't catch Covid until last August.....; at yet another nephew's wedding......
which turned out to be a super-spreader event.
Was lax w/ the masks at the family wedding; big mistake..... but now the masks as designed.
