If NCIS: Sydney is popular here I hope they continue to air it in future seasons (or at least on Paramount+). Would be a shame if it’s just a 1 season strike filler.

It was pretty good, and much much better than NCIS: Hawaii.

And much better than NCIS: New Orleans.

The latter started out ok for awhile but lost an engine it couldn't afford to lose, and that was that.

Granted, this is only one episode for Sydney, and it's not a Hulu/Amazon/Prime/Netflex product, but it was pretty good for a pilot/first episode.

The Ozzies aren't immune to standard TV tropes, but the cast had decent chemistry for the first episode, and it should get better as the season goes on.

Our shows are coming back but they'll still be short seasons, so I too hope they keep Sydney.

Of course, we could lose it hear but it could still go on in the land of Oz.

And NCIS proper has done well, in my book anyway, surviving a complete cast turn over with the exception of McGeek (Sean Murray).
