I have a nuked 16" MacBook Pro M1 and I need to device if I want Monterey, Ventura or Sonoma.

I plan to make this my daily machine.

I am currently on a MacBook Air 13" M1, with Monterey, and I did not update to Ventura because I heard you guys didn't like it

I also skipped Ventura based on what I heard here. So I recently just jumped right to Sonoma and found it's really okay. There's some differences in how preferences are displayed. Other than that there's some nice features built in. I especially like having some widgets.

I have completely ignored Stage Manager in the same way I ignored Spaces before that. I dont need that much complexity in my life.

Beautiful, would recommend it to anybody. Don't sleep on the Kendall Jackson tour, there's a lot more to that place than "grocery store wine."

yeah, I've been to Napa Valley right before Covid, amazing how you can leave SF at 64F and end up an hour away at 95F and Sunny

I should probably go back and visit Sonoma next time.

Hit El Molino Central for Mexican food. OMG good.

Print Center is a nightmare for anyone doing anything more than basic printing.

Breaks lots of antivirus/security apps that you're probably not using at home.

Otherwise, once you fix the Desktop, it's just Ventura with a bit of lipstick.

I recently updated to Sonoma on my M1 iMac. It’s fine. It may be my imagination, but it seems a lot snappier than the previous OS. A friend who also has an M1 iMac has the same impression.
