I’ve really enjoyed the shows so far but episode 4 last Sunday fell a bit flat for me. First off there seems to be more commercials than actual show. I found myself saying “that’s it?” when it was over. It felt like it ran for 30 minutes.
Besides that a few scenes seemed a bit of a stretch. First he comes upon a tough old lady that points a shotgun at him but after he captures her two sons they show him waltzing away with them, old lady nowhere to be seen. Are we supposed to believe this tough old lady would just let him cuff her sons and just leave? Later when he visits the wife of the wanted guy who was shot with the letter we find she’s blind but she looks to be living alone out in the boonies and totally fine out there alone. She’s totally unperturbed. Cabin is well kept, but where does the food come from, who does the farming and harvesting? And what was the whole face eating thing all about? Hopefully the show doesn’t go flakey going forward and the boogie man that showed up at the end turns out to be explained by the conversation he had with the other deputies earlier.
Anyone else feeling the same?
