sudden iPhone SE2020 bugginess

I was reading on the sofa a little while ago and my wife came home and said something like "Good. You're alive." Apparently she sent me a couple of texts that I never received and a call that went right to Voicemail...for which I also received no Notification. Her phone says says they were sent. So I sent her a text which she received and I called her, which she received. She tried calling my phone again and nothing. Tried texting again and nothing. My daughter texted me this afternoon and I received it fine. I texted my phone from my Google Voice number and received that fine.

We've both rebooted our phones but it didn't solve the issue. I've toggle Airplane mode off for five minutes, then back on again. Rebooted again. No, I've not updated to iOS 17 yet. I'm still running 16.6 but it's been fine until a little while ago. I guess updating may be the next step, but it seems my wife's phone is the problem, more so than mine.

Any thoughts?

Did you (accidentally) block her?

Oops. I had blocked her. Unintentionally.

Really.

No, really.

Thanks. I hadn't even considered that.
