AAPL - Did You Buy Any Today?
Posted by: Rick-o
Date: January 02, 2024 03:21PM
I almost pulled the trigger THREE times today but passed up because I've only had 3 hrs. sleep for the past two days. Maybe tomorrow? Will Apple just shrug, and brush this off? Am I just sleep depraved? Your thoughts?

And one more thing, how can one dude cause all this in one day? confused smiley

I don't know, but doesn't stock prices typically surge towards the end of the year, then drop and continue to drop for a while after the first of the year?

Expect it to drop for a few days, along with most everything else. This week is a good buy opportunity for any stock (that isn't just plain tanking)

AAPL has been underperforming for the past few quarters - look it up yourself. I expect some to lock in last years gains and sell some.

While "all signs" point to a more stable economy, "all wallets" don't. And those wallets are still what will drive the economy, despite the Fed's best efforts to do it themselves.

Yes, that is a fair criticism.

My comments are not investment advise. Apple is the most valuable company on the planet. Will they keep that title? I doubt it will be true in a century. Who knows when that will change until then.

IMO, most of these analysts use their position to manipulate stock prices legally.

Must be why consumer spending is so strong this year.

Yeah, my AAPL is up about 5,000% since I bought it. Only regret is, I sold a little off after Jobs died, thinking it had peaked. Could have another 30-40k in my portfolio if I'd held tight.
