Noticed "the cookie" on the Costco Food Court menu today.

They had the sign posted for the new cookie when I was shopping today, I didn't buy one, and I'm really unsure what it looks like. The picture looked like it had a stack of the cookies.

And the sign said that it had 750 calories, that's quite a bit for a single cookie, it's more calories than their slice of pizza (cheese or pepperoni).

Next time I'll try to hang out around the food court to see if anyone orders it to see what it looks like.

750 calories? What's in the cookie, a slice of pizza?

$2.50 is still a lot for a single cookie.

I don't do TikTok so there was no audio, but the captions were clear.

This would be a cookie I'd like, depending on the chocolate.

I try to remember to get a slice ever time I'm at Costco, so maybe a slice and a cookie for dessert would be an occasional buy.

Big cookies aren't my favorite serving size though, because it's good that much sooner, instead of eating three cookies-one third the size, over a span of time.

Happiness is a warm cookie.

Sure, if you're comparing it to a box of cookies bought in store, but on an a la carte cookie calorie basis, it seems comparable/cheaper to other offerings and it's cheaper than the cookie it's emulating.

i.e.
Subway chocolate chip cookie: $1 for 210 calories, so $3.57 for 750 calories.
Blaze Pizza chocolate chip cookie: $2.95 for 280 calories, so $7.90 for 750 calories!

I don't do TikTok either, but I was able to hear the audio. It's off by default, but click the speaker icon to turn it on.

Mmmmmm....., can't wait to try 1/6 of a cookie.

We have a small, upscale market chain, Bristol Farms, here in So. Cali, that has "The Cookie"...... for $3.50.

I'm hoping Costco has merely appropriated Bristol's cookie for mas(s) consumption.

FYI, as long as y'all brought up their pizza, Costco's pizza dough was appropriated from a local NY pizza shop down the street from UCLA, and has made the already rich pizza shop owner, filthier richer. Bristol Farms has been doing alright for years (and gives UCLA students/staff a 10% discount), and if it turns out that Costco is now selling their cookies, I suspect it'll boost Bristol's bottom line, too.

Actually, IRL Mrs. Buzz and I each scarf 1/4 of a cookie at a time, so one cookie is good for two days.....
unless Baby Buzz comes over for a visit, and finds the uneaten half, at which time that half magically disappears.

I'm gonna check this Costco cookie thing out ASAP!

Not going to happen, on my watch.

There is no such thing as parting out a cookie.

Leftovers and save some for tomorrow isn't in my vocabulary.

So I'd have to incorporate the whole cookie into a dessert.

Bigger items, sure — cakes, pies, chickens, all save some for later candidates.

Costco pizza is basically Domino's or frozen than NY style. Not saying that you are incorrect but it reeks of Midwestern pizza to me.

If ‘The Cookie’ is as good as the smaller chocolate chunk cookies they sell for $10 for a large container, then they are REALLY, REALLY, GOOD.
We get them for my granddaughter and she won’t eat any other brand now. They have big chocolate chunks.

Local guy is exclusive broker/wholesaler just for the (pizza) dough; all the rest of the pizza is on Costco.
The pizza at Costco is what it is; it brings peeps to their food courts, like their $5 roasted chickens brings peeps inside the store.....

Self-control, my dear friend, self-control.

To make 'em last two days, just don't let your, or any, big, hungry kids near 'em.

or are you sayin' you're still that big, hungry kid?

at least when he comes over, or we take him out to eat.
Gotta start finding some better hiding places around here.
