They have a lot of hard to find high quality stuff. IIRC, unless you have a corporate account it's not cheap.

At work we order a lot of stuff from them. They are the go to place for hardware (screws, taps, etc), tools, raw materials, almost anything.

I live a few miles from one and I went to pick up a personal order, it's a huge warehouse with conveyer belts and robots.

I've probably purchased $50000 worth of stuff from them in the last 5 years. They ship FAST but they're often the most expensive option.

They're expensive, but they have the REAL stuff in one place, at a level of quality that you won't find in most other places. When I worked in computer manufacturing, they were the go-to place for our assembly line conveyor and robot needs. They weren't cheap, even with Apple's corporate account.

Some of there stuff is reasonably priced.

Someone I know ordered some JIS screwdrivers from them and they were a little more expensive than AMZ, shipping included.

Many times, if some part can't be found elsewhere, they've got it.

McMaster Carr has high quality stuff. Having said that, for 80psi water, there are plenty of options at Home Depot, Lowe’s (and your neighborhood hardware store assuming there are any left…).

There are also “hose and belting” places that sell all sorts of hose by the foot with much higher psi ratings than 80psi.

What kind of hose are you looking for?

Good, reliable company. Been in business a long time. The company I used to work for used them as a supplier for production parts. My brother more recently used them for parts in his business.

Love them. They are the MOST patient people on the phone, helping me out with a number of projects. A great place to get industrial level stuff, especially if you need only one piece.

Not in a long time. We used to order a few things from them when I was still working in a machine shop.

They everything. Mostly for commercial/industrial but pretty much if they don't have it, you don't need it.

We always used them to source mock ups and prototypes then sourced the parts from more reasonable sources once we had proof of concept.

I think they have several distribution centers, but their HQ and main warehouse is in Elmhurst, IL, not too far from my house.

We also sold a few products through them and they pretty much had a now questions asked return policy. We sold pumps to them - which people would use to pump out their basement or some other dewatering issue, then rip the cables out the motor and send it back. They would ship it back to us demanding credit. Would charge them a restocking fee, fix it, paint it and put it in a new box and sell it next time they ordered one.

Good stuff, expensive even with a corporate account. You get what you pay for.
