Some good deals there. No discount on the Zf throwback camera (the full-size one with dials), although you can get it with a free bag.

So tempted by the 600mm pf.

I almost bought it when it first came out but couldn't justify spending $4800. $4300? Probably still out of reach. Maybe the "like new" used one at B&H for $4000 (I'm probably not there yet even at that price).

confused smiley

I did try it out for a week. It is a beautiful instrument--much better and more useful than the 500 pf that I've owned. There is no significant difference between f/5.6 and f/6.3. But I took a new job and as a result haven't done as much photography as I'd like, so blowing $$ on a lens that probably won't get a ton of use is not in the cards.

I know the 600 PF would be much lighter but I have seen some used 500mm f/4 for Nikon at and around the $2k price range. Worth looking into for you?

No, weight matters. I don't have to think twice about traveling with a 3lb lens, but I would with a nearly 7lb lens like the 500mm f/4. Plus, I want to eventually have an all Z lens kit. The 500mm would be a major step back. Since I'm not doing much photography these days, I can wait and dream.

I understand that weight issue. Best of luck.
