Stayed at the Mirage for my trip to Las Vegas, that I was talking about the last week.
Got online, and found that the midweek price of $109 a night for a room, was great. Centrally located to Cesars, Treasure Island, Stayed by the pool, enjoyed the water falls, and stayed out of the sun.
Beatle Cirque du Soleil was ok. I didnt walk out of it, saying that I had to tell all my friends they must see it. And the people walking out didn't have that typical chatting going on, excited about what they had just seen. Great sounding cuts of music. Great blends. But no story. Just an interpretation by the Cirque du Soleil people of the songs. The stuff that goes on is amazing, and I would like to take some people that are in to backstage work, to get their response.
All in all, a great trip, with a great steak at the Mirages' Kokomos steakhouse.
Next trip in the middle of the week will be to Yosemite, where we will stay just outside the park at this Yosemite View Hotel. Suppose to have a view of the river, but I wont count on it. May also have a tram thingy to get to the valley. Going to bring some food, to make our eating easier, since I understand that their are no facilities except what is at the hotel, and those get crowed because of it being the only hotel.
Happy Mac computing.
Oh, and my son made it to work, with that 89 Corolla all week, since using that $9.99 bars HEAD GASKET sealer.
Now if that FM transmitter will just work well on the trip to Yosemite, as it did in the desert on the way to Las Vegas, all will be well.
