MacPro to iMac 400 target?

will I be able to target mode my brothers iMac 400 slot job and run DW from my machine to his?
I have DW4. I think he's having some corrupt dir issues.

Yes, as long as he has a firewire port. Your machine should be the one in Target mode so that he can access DW from your machine and run it on his files.

You can't make the Intel Mac the target with a Mac running Mac OS 10.3.9 or earlier.

I thought that Intel and PPC macs couldn't do Target mode between platforms. Intel->Intl is OK. PPC-->PPC is OK. Intel>>PPC Not OK.

I would think I'd want to target him as he's the one with the problem.

well, I guess I'll give a go. I can';t imagine I'd pop anything, perhaps it just wouldn't work.
Unless I can find an old OS9 emergency CD here.
