OS9 - help

got a 400Mhz iMac slot drive. I updated to 9.2.2.
It's problem of late has been that it won't burn from iTunes (MP3s in this case) to an external Sony FW CD writer, which it has in the past.
I ran DW and TTP, nothing unusual.
It'll mount an audio CD in iTunes automatically as usual, but when I try to burn a play list or open CD Burning tab from iTunes prefs, it searches endlessly for a drive.
I zapped the pRam. 320M RAM.

I'm open to ideas.

Nobody remembers their first download, but everyone remembers their 1st LP.

You may need to hack the iTunes supported burners file.

Try re-installing Disc Burner software, and then hack if necessary. I don't recall if Disc Burner software gets put on be default with 9.2.2 on Macs that didn't come with Combo drives originally.

yea, really, I've tried to sell the idea, but as others have pointed out, used G4 iMac is $ better spent.
his iMac is 6 or 7 years old.
