Tried it on Dailymotion, youtube, and Veoh. Nice how it runs in the background,
but not when the video is paused in Veoh or Dailymotion (the video has to play, so I just mute the sound and close the pane)

It's only for Safari. There are free plug-ins for Firefox or you can just find the FLV in the folder at /var/tmp/folders.501/TemporaryItems/ {before you empty the cache of course} .

Are those invisible/hidden folders? I forgot how to view invisible items in Finder.

No need to make them visible. Just use the "Go To" popup in the Finder.

Type <Command>+<Shift>+G and then enter the path to the folder you want to get to.

A few caveats to the aforementioned method:
The user ID number may not be 501. Mine, for example, is 503.
The file may not be there. I have caching disabled and don't see anything at all in my folders.503 folder.

This is an automatic thing, instead of having to look for the link in the Activities list in Safari to grab the file?

Who makes this thing? Is it called FLVR (like FLV Player is?)

If you can throw a link up there, that will save more than just me
the incredibly painful process of going to Google or Version Tracker
looking for something that may or may not have a different name,
and save someone from a possible micro-stroke!

Save a life - post a link!!!

Thanks!
