Tire went flat sitting in driveway a week ago. OK after I filled it up.

I filled it up and it’s OK after a week. Why did it go flat and then not go flat again?

Are you sure it’s OK? Pressure could be low but you barely notice it.

Sitting on the nail or ?? Maybe move the car slightly so that it's sitting on a different portion of the tire and see if it happens again?

I kicked them and they are full.

A pressure gauge will work well in that situation.

Probably a slow leak. Air leak rate can vary depending on the position of tires when parked.

That would be my first guess.

Indeed. Kicking the tire(s) is only pass/fail, you need to know if the tire in question is losing air before it goes completely flat, and if so how much over what amount of time.

Had to replace wheel with a tiny nick on the rim. The tire would go flat if parked in a certain position.

Be sure to keep a pump in your car!

Someone could have let the air out.

There could be a foreign object in the tread that only leaks are when the tire is resting on it.

Fill the tire above the recommended pressure.

Squirt a solution of soapy water on the tire, then move the car so the tire rotates some, and squirt some more.

Without some additive, leaks seldom heal themselves.

Also, depending on how long it was sitting flat, it may have damaged the tire. I blew out a tire that had been flat for an unknown amount of time after I filled it up and drove on it for a bit (luckily it happened in stop and go traffic).
