Applecare for a two week old Macbook for $159 now, or wait it out for a better price on eBay? Completed items shows some that were sold for $129 and $149 last month but what are the odds of getting it that cheap again?
I've got fifty weeks, if I don't forget.

apple will call you in 48 weeks -- if you registered your macbook with them -- and ask you if you are interested in applecare

ive never seen it for $129, and the one we bid on went to $155...

Wait, IMHO.

You have less time than that. If you have a problem after the free phone time ends, you will have to use a credit card to get tech support. If the support deems that your problem isn't Apple's hardware or software, you will pay $50 or have to buy Applecare on the spot. Paying Apple's price. Get it soon. LA Computer company wants $179. $159 sounds like a good price.

I just bought one of those also. I think we have been bidding against each other for a couple of others that I was outbid on.

Now because you're bound to forget, or put it off, and miss the window.
