I’m using the speech function some words might not make sense. I’m getting in my MRI today for an incident a few days ago. A CT yesterday was negative.

I’m hoping that you are posting from the hospital, and the lag in response is because you have been in the MRI facility. First, get someone to assist you in setting things up in your phone, if you haven’t already—it appears that vision, speech, and possibly coordination are somewhat affected, to varying degrees. I’m not sure which phone you have, but there are a lot of stuff to be found for the iPhone in the Accessibility tab, as well as the Siri tab, that you can investigate to make things easier for you. Yes, I know, Siri is mostly useless, but it does do some things okay, especially repetitive stuff. (Even then, it can get a bit wonky!) Without more information, I can’t really say much.

Get a fall monitoring device. I got my mom an Apple Watch just for that feature alone. However, she would fall or stumble or whatever, and told it that she didn’t fall simply because she didn’t hurt herself (and didn’t want anyone to know what happened) and eventually trained it to ignore these episodes. Then when she fell and broke her hip (and her arm) it mysteriously didn’t notify anyone. Hmmm…

Perhaps when next you post, you can give us an update as to the results of the MRI. We are pulling for you!

Nobody gets worked up for stroke on an outpatient basis, I think it's a safe bet that he posted from the hospital.

Have they done a carotid ultrasound? Ischemic strokes are often missed in CT scans, but can be deduced from a narrow carotid.

The MRI showed no change from the stroke I had two years ago.

They are doing some deeper blood work to look for a Myelofibrosis and Myeloproliferative Neoplasm connection or dehydration (I drink almost 100% diet Cokes).

My niece is my PCP nurse practitioner and she will le me know.

The theory now is dehydration. I came home.

Sometimes you have to force yourself to get fluids.

I almost exclusively drink (at least 2 liters per day) plain old water now.

Well coffee too.

A little milk, and the occasional soda.

No juices.

No alcohol.
