Folding @ Home (38910) forces me to spend money

I recently put a brand spanking new PS3 (60GB) on layaway. Here is the disturbing part...

The MAIN reason I really really want it is for F@H. With the Cell Broadband Engine, folding is very fast and basically kicks the crap out of my MacBooks. I know I will also use the PS3 to watch Blu-ray movies and play video games, but the Folding numbers are so impressive.

I have also toyed with the idea of buidling a new PC with an ATI video card. Why? To increase my F@H score!!!!

I don't care that the PS3 can't run OS X (yet). I am getting one anyway.

I gotta get those OctoCores setup to start F@H for MacNN, I've been putting it off.
My clients Mac's, I personally think it's a waste of Volts&Amps.

The numbers are impressive. smiling smiley PS3forums jumped up to 109 in just over 6 weeks and the PS3 accounts for 65% of current TFlops.
