I'd like to clean and coat the glass shower to repel water droplets.

is Rain-X a good idea (I already have several bottles in the garage) or should I try something else?

I'd be concerned about getting it on the tub and making it slippery. Maybe lay some towels on the tub while applying?

is it a glass shower door? if so, sure. If not I would try it on a small corner to be sure it doesn't damage the door.
